Building a sustainable future through plant-based innovation.ย  On 28 January 2025, our team members Grigoris Chatzikostas and George Tsiolas joined the kick-off meeting of the EU-funded ๐—˜๐˜…๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—น๐Ÿฐ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ project hosted by the coordinating partner TรœBฤฐTAK in Gebze Kocaeli, Tรผrkiye, sharing reframe.food‘s plans for contributing to this ambitious initiative.
Excel4Pro aims to strengthen plant-protein innovation ecosystems in Tรผrkiye, Greece, and Ukraine by developing sustainable food systems and driving plant-based protein economies.
During his presentation, Grigoris highlighted ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฒ.๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑโ€™s role in supporting the food innovation ecosystems of the three countries by developing scalable ๐—•๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐— ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—น๐˜€, and offering ๐—™๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜ to start-ups and SMEs to apply their own services and solutions. He also emphasised the importance of enhancing R&I strategies by establishing a collaborative framework, which entails setting up a Joint Steering Committee.
By fostering collaboration and innovation, these efforts aim to create the foundation for a thriving plant-based food economy in the region.
