The GEORGIA Horizon Europe project recently held its 2nd Plenary Meeting in Vienna, hosted by project partners alchemia-nova and Cambium – Leben in Gemeinschaft.
The two-day meeting provided an opportunity for consortium partners to review progress, discuss ongoing challenges, and coordinate the next stages of implementation for water management solutions in the agricultural sector.

Collaborative exchange

The meeting began with updates from partners on technical work and strategic planning. Discussions addressed practical aspects of regional implementation and explored how the project can contribute to more resilient and water-efficient farming systems. Contributions were drawn from a broad range of expertise across scientific, technological, policy, and social innovation fields.

Informal engagement

An informal walk through the nearby countryside and vineyards was also organised, offering space for participants to exchange perspectives outside the formal agenda. The activity supported continued cooperation among partners in a more relaxed setting.

Next steps

The second day focused on planning. Topics included implementation timelines, communication and dissemination strategy, and preparatory work for upcoming deliverables. The discussions helped clarify priorities and responsibilities as the project moves into a more intensive phase of activity.
