The Carbonica Excellence Hub will play a crucial role in enhancing the existing carbon farming ecosystems of Greece, North Macedonia, and Cyprus. By developing long-term, joint research and innovation (R&I) strategies and investment plans, Carbonica aims to build sustainable, place-based innovation ecosystems in these regions. The collaborative and knowledge exchange activities at the hub will connect high-level talents from all regions, promoting brain circulation and intersectoral mobility for researchers. This will empower them to better tackle all aspects of carbon farming and increase the pool of strong consortiums that can participate in future Horizon Europe projects. As we continue to witness the growth of the Excellence Hubs ecosystem, we’re excited to explore new avenues of collaboration that will help drive progress toward a more sustainable future. Carbonica stands ready to contribute to the global effort, advancing carbon farming practices that will strengthen climate resilience and ensure a healthier planet for future generations.
