The 3rd Annual IMPRESS Consortium Meeting has come to a successful close in Vigo, Spain, hosted at the headquarters of ANFACO-CECOPESCA.
Over two productive days, partners gathered to exchange updates, share progress on key developments, and define the next steps in advancing the project’s mission for a more sustainable future.

- Trinity College Dublin presented their latest innovations in biodegradable packaging and protective film technologies, marking a major milestone in IMPRESS’s efforts to develop sustainable materials.
- Comex unveiled their NFC Tracking Chip prototype, which constitutes a significant step forward in enhancing digital traceability and transparency throughout the food value chain.
reframe.food led discussions on market-facing progress, helping to define a clear positioning strategy and inform the upcoming go-to-market analysis.
The meeting also served as a unique opportunity for IMPRESS partners to tour ANFACO-CECOPESCA’s state-of-the-art research facilities and explore the canning museum, gaining valuable insights into the region’s long-standing expertise in fish processing and preservation.
