The presentation of the Startup Guide for the Agrifood Sector, created by reframe.food with the support of the European Digital Innovation Hub – EDIH-Digiagrifood, was successfully held at Beyond Expo 2025 today.
During the event, we shared key insights and conclusions about the Greek AgriFood startup ecosystem. Greece remains a growing hub for innovation in the field, with the agrifood sector drawing increasing investor interest. Although traditionally linked to rural areas, the sector is steadily evolving within urban centers as well. Startups securing funding are focused on strategic growth, utilizing their teams and resources to the fullest.
The Guide features 30 companies, showcasing their innovative solutions, competitive advantages, future goals, and funding sources. It is designed as a tool for investors and will be presented at upcoming events in Greece and across Europe.
The panel discussion, moderated by Grigoris Chatzikostas, Partner at reframe.food, following the presentation, included valuable insights from featured companies ProxyFoods, CityCrop, and Future Intelligence, who exchanged perspectives and experiences, with the participation of Professor Georgios Broufas, Vice Rector for Research & Innovation at Democritus University of Thrace.
The Startup Guide will also be available online for easy access by all interested stakeholders.
