Three inspiring days of innovation, connection, and impactful conversations at the Metropolitan Expo Athens have come to a close — and they’ve left us with exciting insights, new relationships, and a renewed energy to drive change.
From April 4–6, 2025, the reframe.food team was proud to participate in the #Beyond2025 Innovation Arena, where we showcased four groundbreaking EU-funded projects that are shaping the future of the Agrifood sector through smart, sustainable, and digital solutions:

Each project represents a unique approach to tackling some of today’s most pressing challenges — from rural development and smart fisheries to urban-rural linkages and precision agriculture. These initiatives reflect the core values of Horizon Europe: innovation, collaboration, and impact.
Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to:

Engage in meaningful dialogue around the role of digital technologies and AI in transforming the Agrifood ecosystem.
Communicate the purpose, impact, and cross-sector synergies of our projects to a broad and enthusiastic audience.
Share how community-driven, tech-enabled innovation can pave the way for more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient systems.
Our stand — Stand A11 in Hall 3 — became a hub of interaction and engagement, where ideas were exchanged and new collaborations took root. From researchers and policy makers to entrepreneurs and citizens, we were excited to welcome a wide spectrum of visitors who share a common vision: a better, more sustainable future through innovation.
Looking Ahead
Beyond Expo was not just an exhibition. It was a platform for co-creation, for fostering partnerships, and for showcasing the incredible work being done across Europe to bridge research, policy, and practice.
